Abhay grew up in a small town in India with a passion for problem-solving and innovation. In 2016, he moved to the United States to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering and is now earning his MBA at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee.
Since making Milwaukee his home, Abhay has watched the city grow and thrive, yet its streets were still filled with outdated static ads. He saw an opportunity to bring a modern, tech-driven approach to how residents and visitors access information.
That vision became THE DIGI CITY Milwaukee’s first network of smart digital outdoor kiosks, delivering real-time transit updates, local business directories, events, and community alerts.
Abhay’s mission is simple: make cities more connected, informed, and engaging through technology that serves the community
Mitch moved from India to the U.S. to study Mechanical Engineering and later earned a master’s in engineering management. While I’ve always had a technical mindset, my true passion lies in understanding how people interact with the world around them. Having lived in India, Brazil, and the U.S., I’ve developed a global perspective on how cultures and environments shape human connections.
This curiosity and diverse background led me to co-found a company focused on interactive digital kiosks. These aren’t just screens with information, they’re tools that help people explore cities, discover local culture, stay informed, and feel more connected to their surroundings.
I’m passionate about building something that improves everyday experience, especially in public spaces where people from all walks of life come together. My approach is simple but effective: I combine strategic thinking with hands-on action, always focused on creating tech that feels natural, inclusive, and truly useful. It’s about making things work in a way that makes people feel something.
